Wildcat DADS is our school-based, family, and community engagement, organization for male role models at University Elementary.  Each school year hundreds of fathers and father-figures make a positive impact on our children by volunteering millions of hours in their local school through this amazing one-of-a-kind program.

Who are Wildcat Dads? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrators.

Studies have shown that involvement of a father or a positive male role model has profound effects on children. Father-child interaction promotes a child’s physical well-being, perceptual ability and competency for relating with others. Furthermore, these children demonstrate greater ability to take initiative and evidence self-control.
